1987 - 2023

Rufus Reade has been organising, planning and leading tours since 1987. In that year he was asked by the Edinburgh University Travel Service to lead a tour to Eastern Turkey. He has been organising and leading tours ever since!

During these thirty-six years he is delighted to have worked with a number of generous, knowledgeable experts, amongst whom he would mention: Eleanor White (Bridge House Art), Philip Archer (Leith School of Art), Crinan Alexander (Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh), Tony Verity (historian and classicist), Ian Andrews (birder and geologist), Bruce Wannell (historian), Mike Betts (birder) and Andrew Haughton (owner of The Nomads Tent).
